NorthWest Medical was set up in 2020 in response to the needs of healthcare authorities in responding to the Covid 19 pandemic which left many countries / governments across the globe facing PPE shortages.
Our founders stepped up to the plate and have built a state of the art manufacturing facility to address this urgent and ongoing need. The founders and management team have an immense level of senior management experience across many industries including textiles, garment manufacturing, food and beverage manufacturing, pharma, medical devices and aerospace.
The new facility is located in Campsie on the outskirts of Derry / Londonderry in Northern Ireland.
The safety of our customers, both medical staff and patients, is at the core of everything that we do and this core value has driven every decision in terms of the start up of the business. Everything had to be done to the highest possible standard with the best technology available. From the design of the new Clean Room to the specification of the manufacturing and packaging equipment, we have worked with the leaders in their field. Where the technology didn’t exist, we have worked with our local university here in Derry, to design it and local manufacturers to build it.
We have taken great care in appointing a great team of staff who are all passionate and immensely proud about what they do. We have created a harmonious working environment where every employee is able to make a huge contribution to the business.
Where possible we source all of our raw materials and packaging from UK/EU.
